Clemson’s coaching staff has welcomed a new member: former wide receiver Will Swinney. He’s joining his father, Dabo Swinney, as a volunteer offensive intern. Will’s younger brother, Drew, has been with the team since last year, adding to the Swinney presence on the coaching staff.
Will Swinney played for Clemson from 2017 to 2021, where he made 35 receptions and scored one touchdown. He was also a standout in the classroom, earning ACC Honor Roll honors five times. After his playing career, Will spent two years as a color analyst on the Clemson Sports Network, contributing to the coverage of Clemson football.
He was part of the 2018 National Championship team that went undefeated. Now, as he steps into this coaching role, Will is bringing his experience and family legacy to the Tigers’ staff.
