Dabo Swinney shares an update on Tyler Brown.

Clemson football head coach Dabo Swinney offered an update on wide receiver Tyler Brown’s status during his press conference on Tuesday. Brown exited the Tigers’ 56-20 win over Appalachian State with an ankle injury.

“He was out there yesterday,” Swinney said. “Same thing. Day to day. He is getting better every day. We’ll see how it goes Saturday.”

Brown, who started both games this season, was limited to just five snaps against Appalachian State before leaving with the injury. He managed one catch for a loss of two yards in that outing. In the season opener against Georgia, he was on the field for 26 snaps, making three catches for 25 yards.

Last season, Brown made a significant impact as a freshman, earning freshman All-American honors. He led the team with 52 receptions and 531 receiving yards, adding four touchdown catches to his impressive debut season. His potential return could be crucial for the Tigers moving forward.
