Dabo Swinney introduced at NBA game, gets booed by crowd

Clemson Tigers head football coach Dabo Swinney was recently announced at a NBA game, then proceeded to get booed by the crowd.

At one time, Dabo Swinney was considered one of the most likeable coaches in college football. He still is viewed favorably by many, but he’s apparently got a few critics as well.

On Sunday, the longtime head coach for Clemson was introduced during a NBA game that included the Charlotte Hornets. And according to Steve Reed with the Associated Press, Swinney’s introduction was met with … getting booed.

Check it out.

Considering the recent history with Alabama, I’m sure there are a few Crimson Tide fans out there who feel the same way as some of those fans at the Hornets game.

Whether it be on the field success or a couple digs at Alabama, Swinney hasn’t been as interested staying on the good side of those people from his home state. Still, it’s brutal getting booed, especially when his introduction wasn’t required.
