Does Cyberpunk 2077 live up to the hype? Here are the good (and bad) things we’ve seen in Night City so far.

After several delays, the most anticipated video game release of 2020 has finally dropped – but CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 is getting mixed reviews from critics and fans alike.

On Monday, the developer publicly apologized for the state of the game when running on base PS4 and Xbox One consoles, which simply aren’t equipped to handle a game attempting to push the limits of six-year-old hardware. Even when running on next-gen systems or high-end PCs, some gamers are running into a plethora of bugs and performance issues.

Does Cyberpunk 2077 live up to the hype? Is it the game of the year in 2020? Given all the technical problems, should you avoid playing the game on a base PS4?
