Add another accolade to Creed Humphrey’s huge offseason.
The redshirt junior was named to the 2020 ESPN preseason college football All-America team.
Humphrey took 877 snaps as a redshirt freshman in 2017 and 858 snaps as a sophomore in 2018, and has now earned himself the status of one of the top linemen in college football.
After finishing as a finalist for the Remington trophy last season, he enters 2020 as perhaps OU’s most sure-fire prospect for next year’s NFL Draft.
He has also been named to both the Walter Camp and Sporting News first-team preseason All-American teams, as well as the Big 12 preseason All-American squad.
Humphrey joins Alabama’s Alex Leatherwood and Deonte Brown, Tennessee’s Trey Smith, and Texas’ Samuel Cosmi on the All-American offensive line. Fellow Big 12 standout Chuba Hubbard of Oklahoma State also made the team.
Oklahoma opens their season with an evening bout versus Missouri State at 6 p.m. on Saturday. The game will be on Pay-Per-View.
