The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles took Christmas off. Wednesday is normally the first “real” practice of a game week, but with the holiday season in full swing, both teams took the opportunity to spend time with family.
Still, the NFL cycle goes on, so both teams provided an estimation of their walking wounded ahead of their Week 17 rematch. The two teams are going in different directions on their seasons overall, but both are two of the hottest teams in the leagues. The 7-8 Cowboys have won four of their last five games to try and climb back to .500 before the season ends. The 12-3 Eagles just had their 10-game winning streak halted by a last-second touchdown off the arm of Washington’s Jayden Daniels.
Here’s a look at the stage being set for who to keep an eye on when the two teams return to the practice fields on Thursday.
