Cowboys storming back in second half against Eagles

The Eagles scored 20 straight and the Cowboys countered with a surge

The Philadelphia Eagles dominated the first half against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday at the Linc.

The Birds scored 20 straight points in the second quarter before the Cowboys got on the board with a Brett Maher field goal in the last half-minute.

Everything flipped in the third quarter as Cooper Rush led Dallas on a 9-play, 79-yard drive that concluded with a 14-yard scoring run by Ezekiel Elliott.

The Cowboys then went on a 15-play, 93-yard drive bridging the third and fourth quarters.

The scoring play came when Rush found Jake Ferguson in the first minute of the fourth quarter. The PAT made it a 20-17 game.

The Eagles were looking to remain the lone undefeated team in the NFL while the Cowboys were hoping to grab a share of the NFC East lead.
