First the potato chip aisle at Target and now this? What’s going on down there in the Carolinas?
A week after Carolina Panthers legend Steve Smith was subject to an army of Washington Football Team Commanders-themed Tostitos in Charlotte, Lids released the details on its best-selling NFL jerseys of the 2021 season. And, once again, it wasn’t the hometown team that was representing the flavor of both states.
It was, instead, the Dallas Cowboys that saw their threads fly off the shelves most.

They might not be “America’s Team” anymore, but the boys may very well be Carolina’s Team by the looks of this.
Additionally, quarterback Dak Prescott led the way in sales amongst players in South Carolina. That’s awfully kind of the folks down in the Palmetto State to support a *checks notes* opposing player who grew up in Louisiana and played his college ball at Mississippi State University.
Well, at least there’s some local loyalty in the Tar Heel State—where running back Christian McCaffrey topped the charts.
