Look, we’re all tired after staying up to watch the 2020 NFL Draft, and we know that ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith makes mistakes like everyone else, although he tends to get called out for them a lot.
But the First Take personality can’t get Terrance Williams’ name out of his head.
Williams, as you may recall, was a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys from 2013 to 2018 before he wasn’t re-signed in 2019.
And back in February of this year, Smith talked about how Tom Brady could help the Cowboys and he’d have “Terrance Williams and these boys” to throw to. Oops.
On Friday, it happened again. While speaking about CeeDee Lamb joining the Cowboys, he mentioned that Williams was on the roster:
And this is why these shows are trash!!!!
Didn’t realize we still had Terrence Williams 🤦🏽♂️ pic.twitter.com/3PRvKaAnVT

Oops x 2. Some reaction:
Stephen A. Smith once again thinks Terrance Williams is still playing for the Cowboys.

Someone needs to let Stephen A Smith know Terrance Williams is no longer a Cowboy.
