The Mike McCarthy watch has been put on hold … if there was one.
Dallas Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones said on a radio show the first-year coach, who has seen major struggles, will not be let go.
Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones to @1053thefan: "There will be absolutely no change with Mike McCarthy. I am surprised someone would question (that). … We have the utmost confidence this ship is going to be righted quickly."

McCarthy has "accomplished a lot," Stephen says, "and is going to accomplish a lot more before all’s said and done."
In specifying Cowboys won't make change "with Mike McCarthy," Stephen didn't rule out other staff changes from 4-9 team.
