Cousins ranks 14th in PFF’s QB rankings

Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins ranks second among quarterbacks in the NFC North.

How good is Kirk Cousins?!

Every Vikings’ fan from the last three years have been screaming that. While Cousins has looked like one of the best quarterbacks in the league at times, he’s also looked like one of the worst.

In his quarterback rankings heading into the 2021 season at Pro Football Focus, Bruce Gradkowski ranked Cousins 14th in the league.

Here’s a bit of what he wrote about Cousins:

Cousins operates very well when the conditions around him are good. The Vikings hit on replacing Stefon Diggs with Justin Jefferson in the draft, and they have a top-five rushing attack and a great offensive scheme that fits what Cousins excels at.

The Vikings have made the playoffs just once in Cousins’ three years in Minnesota. There will be immense pressure to make a postseason trip in 2021, especially with the team drafting Kellen Mond in the third-round of this year’s draft.

To round out the NFC North, Aaron Rogers ranked third, Just Fields ranked 25th and Jared Goff ranked 26th.
