Could USC land another Oklahoma State defensive transfer in 2023?

Mason Cobb opened the door for USC to go into Stillwater and grab Oklahoma State transfers. Could another Cowboy be next for Lincoln Riley?

Oklahoma State Cowboys defensive lineman Samuela Tuihalamaka has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, per On3’s Matt Zenitz.

In four years with the Cowboys, Tuihalamaka recorded 8.5 tackles for loss and two sacks.

Tuihalamaka redshirted in 2018 upon arriving at OSU but saw action in 34 games from 2019-2022, including all 13 games this season.

Samuela Tuihalamaka played high school football at Mater Dei (California), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1,201 overall recruit in the 2018 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus.

Look for Oregon, Oregon State, Wyoming, BYU, USC and UCLA to be in the mix for the fifth-year senior.

USC obviously has ties with Tuihalamaka, since he attended Mater Dei and played for former head coach Bruce Rollison. Also this cryptic tweet below from Mason Cobb, an Oklahoma State player who transferred to USC, may help the Trojans land the defensive lineman, though we’ll just have to wait and see. It would be significant if the Trojans can get yet another Oklahoma State transfer to come to Los Angeles.
