The Cleveland Browns could use an upgrade at running back, though the offensive line is struggling too, following a couple of bad games without Nick Chubb. There were rumors last week that Cleveland could call about Jonathan Taylor before he signed a massive extension with Indy. With Taylor’s impending return to the field, the team’s current starter Zack Moss could be moved in a trade.
He would immediately be the best running back on the team that could create a nice running back by committee. In three starts with the Colts, Moss has rushed for 280 yards on 66 carries. He also has 42 yards receiving on six catches with one touchdown receiving and one rushing touchdown this season.
Moss has averaged 4.3 yards per carry over his career with over 1,500 yards rushing in his four-year career. Considering the team not having a ton of high-round selections in the upcoming draft the cost for Moss shouldn’t be anywhere near as high as a player like Taylor.
Andrew Berry is known to overturn every stone to look to upgrade the team and Zack Moss is playing well right now. The team may look to just stay the course and lean on Deshaun Watson but adding another quality back to the team at a low cost might be a no-brainer.
