The expectations for Cooper Rush — replacing the injured Dak Prescott at quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys’ Week 8 Sunday night matchup against the Minnesota Vikings — were pretty low.
But he played as good of a game as you could ask for out of a backup quarterback, with 325 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
That included the game-winner to Amari Cooper with 51 seconds left for the dramatic victory.
His family was in the stands, and NBC cameras caught his dad’s excited reaction with him soaking it all in for a second.
