The Rams are four months removed from the end of their magical season, yet Cooper Kupp just keeps adding to his hardware collection. On Wednesday night, Kupp took home the ESPY for Best Championship Performance.
Coincidentally, it was Odell Beckham Jr. who presented the award to Kupp, his teammate during the Rams’ Super Bowl run last season.
Kupp took home Super Bowl MVP honors for his performance against the Bengals, not only catching the game-winning touchdown, but also converting a key fourth-down play on the final drive.
He finished the game with eight catches, 92 yards, two touchdowns and 7 yards rushing.
Kupp beat out UFC fighter Julianna Peña, F1 driver Max Verstappen and
Cale Makar of the Colorado Avalanche for the ESPY, which was first of the night.
Kupp is also up for Best NFL Player – an award he’ll probably win for his epic performance in 2021.
IF IT'S UPP, THEN IT'S KUPP!
