This could be the last week the Los Angeles Rams are without Cooper Kupp. Sean McVay told reporters on Friday that Kupp will return to practice next week, which means they’re likely to open the 21-day window for him to be activated from injured reserve.
A return to practice doesn’t mean he’s going to be activated right away, but it’s obviously a great sign for his chances of playing in Week 5. Sean McVay said recently that the hope is still for Kupp to return when first eligible in Week 5; the Rams face the Eagles that week, so getting Kupp back for that marquee matchup would be huge.
Sean McVay said Cooper Kupp will starting practicing next week, indicating the team will open the 21-day window to activate him off of IR.

Kupp has been sidelined since reinjuring his hamstring just before the season started. He originally strained his hamstring back in July during training camp, so he hasn’t gotten much work in over the last two months.
Fortunately, he has great chemistry with Matthew Stafford already so he won’t take long to get up to speed.
