Cooper Kupp (hamstring) practicing for 1st time since Aug. 1

Cooper Kupp is back at practice for the first time since injuring his hamstring on Aug. 1

When Cooper Kupp left practice with a hamstring injury on Aug. 1, Sean McVay and the Rams targeted one of the two weeks of joint practices with the Raiders and Broncos as a potential return date for the receiver. He didn’t practice with the Raiders last week but Kupp is back out there in Denver for two days of work with the Broncos.

Kupp was spotted at practice on Wednesday, his first session in three weeks. He’s obviously not going to play in Saturday’s preseason game but simply having Kupp on the field for joint practices is a positive step as he gets ready for the start of the season.

Additionally, Derion Kendrick and Joe Noteboom are practicing against the Broncos, as is Logan Bruss. Kendrick was also dealing with a hamstring injury, while Noteboom was out with an undisclosed issue. Bruss tweaked his ankle last week against the Chargers but it seemed to be a minor injury.
