Tuesday, the Raiders brought in some pass rush help, signing former Buccaneers defensive end, Carl Nassib. And he got paid pretty handsomely.
Carl Nassib goes the #Raiders for 3 years and $25M, source said. He gets a whopping $17M fully guaranteed at signing on a deal that has a max value of $28M. https://t.co/86qvPQnba1

Nassib gets a 3-year deal, worth $25 million with incentives that could bring it to as much as $28 million.
Keep in mind, just two years ago, Nassib was among the Browns roster cuts. The former third-round pick was then claimed off waivers by the Bucs and had 12.5 sacks, and 25 quarterback hits over the past two seasons.
While his average of $8.3 million per season isn’t crazy money for the position, that $17 million guaranteed was certainly have been enough to lure him in.
