Contract details for Tennessee Titans’ signing of Nick Dzubnar

Nick Dzubnar’s deal with the Titans is for one year.

The Tennessee Titans added to their linebacker corps., and more specifically their special teams unit, with the signing of former Los Angeles Chargers linebacker, Nick Dzubnar.

On Monday, we got the specific details of the contract Dzubnar signed to play in Nashville in 2020.

According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, Dzubnar’s deal is for one year and it will pay him $1.047 million.

Dzubnar spent five seasons with the Chargers, playing mostly on special teams. In fact, he has just 65 career snaps on defense.

While we know where the 28-year-old will fit in on the Titans, we’re not exactly sure who he’ll be replacing.

One would have to assume that he will take over the role of either Daren Bates or Wesley Woodyard, both of whom are linebackers and played a significant role on special teams last season.

Both Bates and Woodyard have been key contributors to the Titans over the years in their own ways, so Dzubnar will have some big shoes to fill.
