Safety James Wiggins, one of the Arizona Cardinals’ two seventh-round selections in the 2021 NFL draft, was one of the team’s first three picks to sign their rookie contracts. We now know the details to his contract.

He was the 243rd overall pick in the draft out of Cincinnati.

SI.com’s Howard Balzer broke down the details of Wiggins’ contract.

Wiggins’ total contract is worth $3,578,296 with a signing bonus of $98,296.

Wiggins’ cap hit in 2021 will be more than $684,000 if he makes the roster.

His salary for this season will be $660,000 and will increase to $825,000, $940,000 and $1.055 million each of the next three seasons.

His contract is a split contract for the next two seasons, meaning if he is placed on injured reserve, his salary drops to $415,000.
