Confusion continues to reign regarding teams calling Eagles about trade for Carson Wentz

Dan Patrick is reporting that the Eagles haven’t received calls about a trade for Carson Wentz despite Mik Garafalo and Ian Rapoport reporting otherwise

Only Carson Wentz truly knows if he wants to remain with the Eagles and the quarterbacks’ silence has only for rumors and whispers to grow louder by the day.

Mike Garafalo and Ian Rapoport have been in on the Wentz rumors since his benching in Week 13 and as the noise surrounding a potential trade grows, a ton of confusion is starting to surface as well.

As Garafalo, Rapoport, Adam Schefter, and others continue to report that teams have contacted the Eagles about acquiring Wentz, the great Dan Patrick is now reporting otherwise.

During his show on Friday, Patrick went with his “sources”, who dispute Garafalo’s claim that teams have inquired about trading for Wentz.

That prompted Garafalo to respond via Twitter to Patrick’s notion that his sources have more knowledge on the situation.

What we do know is information is continuously being leaked and the likely outcome is probably still weeks away from being known.
