Commanders vs. Eagles: 1st injury report for Week 10

Jahan Dotson was back on a limited basis, while Cole Holcomb remains out.

The Washington Commanders returned to the practice field a day later this week. Washington’s Week 10 game against the Philadelphia Eagles is on Monday night, pushing the practice schedule back this week.

Some familiar names were on the injury report for the Commanders. Linebacker Cole Holcomb remains out with a foot injury. Head coach Ron Rivera spoke about Holcomb’s injury after practice Thursday.

“Well, Cole’s going through obviously a lot of the rehab stuff that we have him doing,” Rivera said. “I know they had him running on the AltarG [anti-gravity treadmill] and in the pool. We’ll see how he feels tomorrow morning, and we’ll go from there with Cole.”

Running back J.D. McKissic remains sidelined with a neck injury. Rivera didn’t speak of McKissic’s injury Thursday, but last week he said it was precautionary due to McKissic’s injury late last season.

In some good news, rookie wide receiver Jahan Dotson [hamstring] was back on the practice field. Dotson has missed five consecutive games. Before his injury, he led all rookies with four touchdown receptions.

Center Tyler Larsen [back] and linebacker David Mayo [hamstring] were also limited on Thursday.

The Eagles had two cornerbacks missed practice, including slot corner Avonte Maddox. Philadelphia’s injury situation continues to look promising.
