Commanders vs. Bears: 4 matchups to watch for Week 6

Here are four key matchups that could determine the outcome of Thursday’s game between the Commanders and Bears.

Can the Washington Commanders [1-4] finally end their four-game losing streak on Thursday night against the Chicago Bears [2-3]?

If Washington can’t leave the Windy City with a win, you begin to look at the schedule and wonder when and where the next will come from. Washington defensive tackle and team captain Jonathan Allen said Tuesday that this is a must-win game.

“I don’t know of too many teams that start 1-5 and have a good season,” Allen said, according to Michael Phillips of the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

For the Commanders to pick up their first win since Week 1, they’ll need to win the majority of one-on-one matchups.
