Commanders QB Jayden Daniels has breakout game heading into showdown vs. Cardinals

The Cardinals will face Daniels and the Commanders after he threw the first 2 TD passes of his career and he set a rookie record.

The Arizona Cardinals will face the Washington Commanders in Week 4 at home. It will be their first game against rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, who was the second overall pick in the 2024 draft.

He had a breakout game on Monday in Week 3.

He led the Commanders, who have begun the season 2-1, to a 38-33 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on the road.

He had his best game thus far, completing 21-for-23 passes for 254 yards and two touchdowns. They were the first two touchdown passes of his NFL career.

He set the NFL single-game rookie record for completion percentage at 91.3%.

He had a passer rating of 141.7.

He also was Washington’s leading rusher with 39 yards on 12 carries and rushed for a touchdown. He leads NFL quarterbacks with 15 rushes for a first down.

He will come into State Farm Stadium with a lot of confidence.

Oh, and the Commanders haven’t punted in their last two games.
