Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels caused whiplash around the league as fans, analysts, coaches, owners and everyone involved with the league suddenly snapped their vision from Caleb Williams to Daniels. He wasn’t supposed to have a season like this, he was supposed to take some time to develop before he made an impact, but Daniels had other ideas.
A few weeks ago, he tied Ben Roethlisberger’s Pepsi Rookie of the Week record with his ninth award. This week, he continues to set his own records after being named the Pepsi Rookie of the Week for the 11th time this season.

The Commanders are 4-1 over the last five games. On average, Daniels has completed nearly 71% of his passes for over 238 yards and three touchdowns in those five games. He’s also a Pro Bowl selection and if he’s not Rookie of the Year, there’s something wrong with the system.
Congrats to Daniels for continuing to shatter the ceiling on rookie quarterbacks!
