Commanders hail mary to beat the Bears actually saved the Vikings

With the Chicago Bears blowing the game against Washington, the Vikings aren’t last in the division.

The Vikings entered the week as the No. 1 team in the NFC North, but following a Minnesota loss on Thursday and both Detroit and Green Bay winning — the Vikings found themselves falling.

It all came down to Sunday’s afternoon slate of games. If Chicago had beat Washington, Minnesota would’ve gone from first to last in one week. But thanks to Jayden Daniels and a hail mary attempt, the Bears shockingly lost.

Not only was there magic in the air on Sunday, but there was a certain Bears’ defensive back who didn’t help the situation. Tyrique Stevenson was seen taunting the Washington crowd as the play was happening, but once he turned around, he ran to the point of attack, then tipped the ball, and that’s when it landed in Noah Brown’s hands for the Washington win.

The Lions are on top of the division now with a 6-1 record, the Packers are next at 6-2, the Vikings are now 5-2, and the Bears are last with a 4-3 record.
