Indianapolis Colts running back Zack Moss reportedly will try to play against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium as he recovers from an injury he suffered in Week 15.
Moss exited the 30-13 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers during the second quarter due to an arm injury after being tackled from behind on a 16-yard receiving touchdown.
Moss didn’t come back into the game, leaving Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson to lead the backfield. The X-rays on Moss’ injury came back negative, and Adam Schefter of ESPN reported he will try to play in Week 16.
Colts' RB Zack Moss plans to try to play Sunday at Atlanta, despite the fact that he injured his shoulder vs. the Steelers, per source. X-rays on Moss' shoulder were negative and he has to, in the words of a source, "see how progresses through the week."

While Moss’ status is up in the air this week, attention will also be placed on starter Jonathan Taylor, who may return from recovery following thumb surgery. It isn’t clear whether Taylor will play this week, but there is reportedly hope that he can make his return.
If neither Moss or Taylor can play against the Falcons on Christmas Eve, the Colts will lean on Sermon and Goodson again. The duo split snaps in the win over the Steelers, combining for 157 rushing yards on 28 attempts.
The injury reports will give us a better idea of how Moss and Taylor are progressing so we’ll keep you updated throughout the week.
