The Indianapolis Colts (3-4) are preparing for a crucial divisional matchup on Sunday when the Tennessee Titans (5-2) visit Lucas Oil Stadium.
A rematch of Week 3 in which the Colts lost 25-16 on the road, things are expected to be a bit different in Week 8. With Carson Wentz healthy and thriving, along with the likely return of several players, the Colts should field a better roster this time around.
Here’s how the experts around the league are picking this matchup:
Expert | Pick | Score (if applicable) |
Nate Davis (USA TODAY) | Titans | 27-23 |
Mike Jones (USA TODAY) | Titans | 29-26 |
Jarrett Bell (USA TODAY) | Titans | 26-24 |
Mike Clay (ESPN) | Titans | N/A |
Gregg Rosenthall (NFL Network) | Colts | 30-28 |
Bill Bender (Sporting News) | Titans | 28-24 |
Dave Richard (CBS Sports) | Colts | N/A |
Pete Prisco (CBS Sports) | Titans | 23-17 |
Mike Moraitis (Titans Wire) | Titans | 31-27 |
Charles McDonald (For The Win) | Colts | N/A |
Bleacher Report | Titans | 26-24 |
This should be a close matchup. The Colts are favored by 2.5 points on the spread while the experts seem to be siding more with the Titans in this game.
Given how the Colts have failed to stop Derrick Henry over the last four times they’ve played him, it will be interesting to see if any adjustments will be made in this matchup.
This game will go a long way into determining seedings into the playoffs when it’s all said and done, but it still isn’t clear who will truly come out on top.
