Colts vs Jaguars injury report: Latest updates, news for Week 18

All the latest updates and news on Colts injury report ahead of a Week 18 game vs. Jaguars.

The Indianapolis Colts will wrap up the 2024 NFL season at home on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Now that the Colts are officially out of playoff contention following last week’s devastating loss to the New York Giants, much of the attention around the team has shifted to the offseason, specifically if any changes to the front office or coaching staff will be made following another disappointing season.

However, before we get to that point, one more game has to be played, and for the second week in a row, the Colts will be without Anthony Richardson, which means Joe Flacco will again get the start.

So, before kickoff arrives, let’s take a look at the Colts and Jaguar’s final injury reports with what you need to know.

QB Anthony Richardson (back): Out

CB JuJu Brents was originally listed as questionable (knee) on Friday but that designation has since been removed and he has been activated off injured reserve. For more on Brents’ return, click here.

Anthony Richardson injury update

Anthony Richardson will miss his second straight game as he deals with back spasms. Once he was not on the practice field on Thursday, this seemed to be the direction that things were trending. As he works through this injury, Richardson has not practiced over the last two weeks. For more on the back spasms that Richardson is dealing with, click here.

“Last week was tough,” said Richardson. “I couldn’t even stand up on Tuesday, I could barely even walk, was crawling around the house, but I’m standing now. If I can do everything in my power to get on the field, I’m going to do so. That was my plan last week, as well, but I could barely move.”
