Colts vs. Jaguars: Initial injury report for Week 1

Here’s a look at the initial injury report for the Colts and Jaguars in Week 1.

The Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars released their initial injury reports Wednesday ahead of the Week 1 matchup at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Like most teams, the beginning of the season means a short injury report. For the Colts, it was a pretty encouraging list to begin the week of practice.

Here’s a look at the initial injury report for the Colts in Week 1:

*DNP = Did Not Participate — LP = Limited Participant — FP = Full Participant*

Player Injury Wed. 9/6 Thur. 9/7 Fri. 9/8 Status
RB Zack Moss Forearm LP
LB Shaquille Leonard Concussion FP

Notes

  • RB Zack Moss has a chance to play as long as he doesn’t suffer a setback, but he will be one to monitor.
  • The fact that LB Shaquille Leonard is practicing in full means he’s almost out of the protocol. He still needs to be cleared by an independent neurologist.
  • LB E.J. Speed was cleared from the protocol before Wednesday’s practice.
