But what about New York’s final injury report? Following the team’s final practice on Friday, the Giants have a number of their own players with injury designations.
Here is what you need to know:
S Raheem Layne (knee), Out: Layne spent most of the 2024 season on the practice squad before making his debut in Week 15 on special teams. He suffered a meniscus injury this past week against Atlanta that now has Layne sidelined for these last few games.
LB Micah McFadden (neck), Out: A key member of the New York defense, McFadden leads the Giants’ in solo tackles this season and has been disruptive as a blitzer as well.
C John Michael Schmitz (ankle), Out: Schmitz is the Giants starting center. On the season, he’s allowed six sacks and 28 pressures, according to PFF.
CB Greg Stroman (shoulder/shin), Out: Stroman has played 130 defensive snaps this season over four games, including one start in Week 15. He’s allowed eight receptions on 11 targets at 13.0 yards per catch.
WR Malik Nabers (toe), Questionable: Earlier in the week, Nabers called himself a “gameday decision.” He leads the NFL in targets with 149 and has totaled 969 yards with four touchdowns.
DL Armon Watts (shoulder), Questionable: Watts is currently on injured reserve still but has been designated to return. Watts has appeared in four games defensively this season, playing 74 total snaps.
C Austin Schlottman (fibula), Questionable: Schlottman has also been designated to return from IR. He doesn’t have any snaps this season. If either Watts or Schlottman is going to be available on Sunday, the Giants will have to activate them from IR on Saturday.
DB Dee Williams (toe), Questionable: Williams has been a primary special teams player for the Giants, playing 133 snaps, most of which have come on the kick and punt return units.
