The Indianapolis Colts traded up to the No. 41 overall pick and selected Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor in the 2020 NFL draft.

A big surprise as the Colts were thought of as a team to potentially move back and add picks, Indy took advantage of grabbing arguably the best running back in the draft.

The Colts gave up the No. 160 overall pick in exchange to move up with the Cleveland Browns.

Though there is no consensus top running back, Taylor is arguably the top back in the draft. The Wisconsin product is a blend of size and speed and will be a strong fit running downhill behind the Colts offensive line.

Taylor has 6,174 career rushing yards over three seasons at Wisconsin. He has seen a lot of carries in his career (926), and there are some concerns about fumbling.

Taylor will join a Colts backfield that includes Marlon Mack, Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins.

The Colts are scheduled to have one more pick on Friday barring a trade at No. 75 in the third round.
