Colts to sign DT Curtis Brooks to the practice squad

Curtis Brooks returns to the practice squad.

The Indianapolis Colts are expected to sign defensive tackle Curtis Brooks to the practice squad, per Joel A. Erickson of the Indianapolis Star.

Until these signings are officially announced by the team, they should be taken with a grain of salt. You can follow along with our tracker, keeping up with every signing.

Brooks was a sixth-round pick for the Colts during the 2022 NFL draft out of Cincinnati. He was considered a sleeper throughout the draft process and even showed some flashes during training camp.

He didn’t do enough to warrant a spot on the initial 53-man roster, but there is still upside that he could turn into a solid contributor down the line with more development.
