Colts sign RB Ty’Son Williams

Another RB added to the backfield.

The Indianapolis Colts signed running back Ty’Son Williams and waived center Alex Mollette, the team announced Tuesday.

Williams, 25, entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens following the 2020 NFL draft. He didn’t see any action during his rookie campaign but saw some work early during the 2021 season.

In 13 games (three starts), Williams took 35 carries for 185 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown while averaging 5.3 yards per carry. He also added nine receptions for 84 receiving yards.

Mollette signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent following the 2022 NFL draft out of Marshall.
