The Indianapolis Colts signed cornerback Holton Hill, the team announced Thursday.
Hill has appeared in 28 career games while making six starts during his three seasons with the Minnesota Vikings since entering the league in 2018 as an undrafted free agent out of Texas.
Hill, 24, has recorded 69 tackles (59 solo), 1.0 tackle for loss, 1.0 sack, 11 passes defended and one interception in his career. Hill is listed at 6-foot-2 and 196 pounds while being measured with 32-inch arms.
The Colts placed veterans Xavier Rhodes and T.J. Carrie on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday so it isn’t a surprise the team is adding some depth.
Hill will be competing with Rock Ya-Sin, Marvell Tell III, Isaiah Rodgers and Andre Chachere in the cornerback room.
