Indianapolis Colts center Ryan Kelly exited Sunday’s win over the Miami Dolphins in the fourth quarter with an apparent injury. However, it seems he didn’t suffer an injury at all.

Head coach Frank Reich told reporters following the game Sunday that Kelly left on the final drive because of an issue with his shoe and not because of an injury.

So Colts fans can breathe a sigh of relief that Kelly won’t be the third starting offensive lineman to deal with an injury during the young season.

Kelly missed a good chunk of training camp due to an elbow injury and while he hasn’t been playing up to his typical standards, he’s still the anchor of the offensive line.

The Colts placed All-Pro Quenton Nelson on the injured reserve list due to a high-ankle sprain while right tackle Braden Smith has been out with a foot injury since Week 2.
