Indianapolis Colts cornerback T.J. Carrie and wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. have been ruled out for the Week 4 matchup against the Chicago Bears, head coach Frank Reich told reporters on Friday.
Neither of these really comes as a shock. The rookie receiver in Pittman Jr. is expected to miss a few weeks due to compartment leg syndrome while Carrie popped up on the injury report on Thursday with a hamstring injury and didn’t practice on Friday.
Frank Reich rules the following players OUT:
WR-Michael Pittman (leg)
CB-T.J. Carrie (hamstring), he suffered an injury in practice on Thursday.Reich won’t say if TE-Trey Burton (calf) and DT-Sheldon Day (knee) will be called up to the active roster this week.

Reich also said that second-year cornerback Rock Ya-Sin is ready to go after practicing in full on Thursday and Friday. The physical defender has been inactive for the last two games after having a medical procedure done.
As for tight end Trey Burton and defensive tackle Sheldon Day, it isn’t clear whether they will be called up from the injured reserve list but both did manage to practice a good amount this week.
The Colts will release their injury report with designations later on Friday.
