The Indianapolis Colts released running back Darius Jackson from the practice squad, the team announced Tuesday.
Jackson has had a number of on-again, off-again stints on the practice squad and despite the Colts only having three healthy running backs—Jonathan Taylor should be activated this week—they haven’t had the need to call anyone up this season.
Jackson could certainly be signed to the practice squad again sometime in the future but for now they will roll with their three on the active roster to go along with Darius Anderson and Paul Perkins on the practice squad.
