Colts release DL from practice squad injured list

The Indianapolis Colts announced on Monday that they’ve released a defensive tackle from the practice squad injured list.

On Monday, the Indianapolis Colts announced that they released defensive tackle Trysten Hill from the team’s practice squad injured list.

Hill was signed to the Colts’ practice squad prior to their Week 11 matchup against the New York Jets.

He was then placed on the practice squad injured list during the bye week.

Hill is a former second-round selection by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2019 NFL draft. He has appeared in 34 games, including five starts prior to this season.

Along with Dallas and his brief time with the Colts, Hill also spent time with Arizona, Cleveland, and New England.

Since Hill was on the practice squad injured list, he already did not count towards the Colts’ practice squad roster. So releasing him does not open up spot on the practice squad.
