The Indianapolis Colts have released the schedule for the 2020 preseason, which is slated to begin in August.
We don’t yet know what the next few months will hold, especially in regards to the protocol the league will put in place for games. It seems they are doing everything they can to get the season started on time—even if it means starting the season without fans.
Here’s a look at the preseason schedule for the Colts in 2020:
Week | Opponent | Date | Time (ET) | Broadcast |
1 | vs. Philadelphia | Thursday, Aug. 13 | 7:00 p.m. | FOX59 |
2 | vs. Washington | Monday, Aug. 24 | 8:00 p.m. | ESPN |
3 | at Buffalo | Saturday, Aug. 29 | 4:00 p.m. | FOX59 |
4 | at Cincinnati | Thursday, Sept. 3 | 7:00 p.m. | FOX59 |
They get a primetime preseason game, which doesn’t hold much value but Week 2 of the preseason should see a solid time for the veterans on the field. Having two games within five days isn’t all that ideal, especially when its the two games in which the starters play the most.
It will be interesting to see what the rest of the offseason holds, but the Colts are preparing for a preseason until told otherwise.
