The Indianapolis Colts haven’t even gotten to the 2020 NFL draft yet but there are already bets being made about how well they might do when the regular season finally arrives.
After a 7-9 season in 2019, the Colts have made some big moves to improve upon that. They traded their first-round pick for defensive tackle DeForest Buckner and signed quarterback Philip Rivers to a one-year deal.
The oddsmakers over at BetMGM have the current over/under for win total at 8.5 for the Colts in 2020.
At 8.5, the Colts are tied with the Titans (8.5) while leading the Texans (7.5) and Jaguars (5.0).
With the defense expected to improve and the offense to follow suit, the Colts should have a chance to make a run at the division. The draft should also help the Colts add some meaningful depth on both sides of the ball.
Having missed the playoffs in four out of the last five seasons, the Colts are feeling the pressure. Some big moves made this offseason, along with some incoming draft picks, should help the Colts in their quest to reach the playoffs.
