Colts open as 8-point favorites over Bengals in Week 6

Colts open as early favorites.

Looking to bounce back from a loss, the Indianapolis Colts (3-2) are strong favorites to begin the week over the Cincinnati Bengals (1-3-1) ahead of the matchup at Lucas Oil Stadium.

As both teams are coming off of a loss, the Colts will open Week 6 as strong eight-point favorites over the Bengals, per BetMGM. The game has a modest 46.5 total with the Colts’ Moneyline opening at -385.

After their loss on the road to the Browns snapped a three-game winning streak, the Colts have a chance to get back into the win column before their bye in Week 7. With a seemingly tough schedule on tap for the second half, grabbing a win at home is vital.

The Colts are hosting a Bengals offense led by rookie quarterback Joe Burrow, who was the No. 1 pick in April’s draft. He’s shown some promise but is also coming off of a 27-3 loss against the Ravens in Week 5.

The Colts themselves have some issues to figure out after another lackluster performance from the offense. But they will have a chance to get things right against a vulnerable Bengals defense.

The Colts are also expected to host 12,500 fans for the Week 6 game.

We will see if this line changes to favor the Colts more given the injuries to Darius Leonard and Anthony Castonzo, but they will be opening the week as solid favorites regardless.
