The Indianapolis Colts (2-4) are riding high from their divisional win but now face a stiffer challenge in visiting the San Francisco 49ers (2-3) at Levi’s Stadium for a Sunday night matchup in Week 7.
Going to the west coast for the first time this season, the Colts will open the week as 3.5-point underdogs against the 49ers, per Tipico Sportsbook.

The Colts are coming off of their biggest win of the season in several aspects. The 31-3 victory was the biggest differential they’ve had in 2021 while it was easily the most complete game they’ve played of the campaign. Of course, the competition that the Houston Texans provided wasn’t strong at all, but the Colts can only do so much about that.
The 49ers have had their ups and downs this season. They’ve switched between quarterbacks Jimmy Garoppolo and rookie Trey Lance due to injuries while their backfield has been decimated by injuries as well. Garoppolo is expected to be the starter this week coming out of the bye.
Coming off the bye week, Kyle Shanahan has now had two weeks to prepare for a Colts defense that hasn’t shown up against solid competition this season.
Regardless, this is likely to be a close contest on the west coast Sunday night.
