The Indianapolis Colts (6-5) will be looking to bounce back in Week 13 as they host another divisional matchup in the Tennessee Titans (6-5) at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Coming off of a primetime loss against the Houston Texans, the Colts are in the middle of a stretch that will determine the fate of their season. In the thick of the AFC wild-card race with five games left, this matchup between the Colts and Titans will have some heavy implications by season’s end.
To open the week, the Colts are 2.5-point home favorites over the Titans at Lucas Oil Stadium, per BetMGM.
The Colts and Titans have already played each other this season. Indy came away with a 19-17 win in Week 2 at Nissan Stadium. This currently makes them the holder of the tiebreaker between the two teams in the AFC South, despite both teams having the same record.
The Titans have found some life with Ryan Tannehill under center. The former No. 8 overall pick took the starting role over Marcus Mariota in Week 7. Tennessee is 4-1 since then and went from averaging 16.3 points per game to 23.4 points per game under Tannehill.
The Colts offense, on the other hand, has been an inconsistent unit. The rushing attack has been strong in recent weeks, but there are some concerns about the potency of the passing attack. Indy hasn’t eclipsed 200 passing yards as a team since Week 7.
This is a huge matchup for both teams in Week 13 in what should be a physical battle featuring two strong defenses and rushing attacks.
