Colts one of a number of teams in attendance at Notre Dame vs. Louisville

The Indianapolis Colts were one of a number of teams in attendance at Saturday’s game between Notre Dame and Louisville.

There were quite a few NFL teams at the Notre Dame versus Louisville matchup on Saturday, including the Indianapolis Colts.

According to Ryan Fowler of Bleacher Report, the Colts were one of 18 teams in attendance at that game. Fowler also noted that it wasn’t just one member of the Colts scouting department that was there, but there were four representatives.

For all NFL teams, this is a common practice throughout the entire college football season and I would guess that this wasn’t the only game where the Colts had representatives in attendance.

With help from the Draft Wire’s Brennen Rupp, here are some of the players to know from Notre Dame who are draft-eligible in 2025:

CB Benjamin Morrison
DB Xavier Watts
IDL Howard Cross
IDL Rylie Mills
WR Beaux Collins
TE Mitchell Evans
LB Jack Kiser

And playing for Louisville, here are the 2025 draft-eligible players from that program to be on the lookout for:

CB Quincy Riley
Edge Ashton Gillotte
TE Mark Redmen
IDL Thor Griffith

For what it’s worth, in the early going of the upcoming draft cycle, Morrison has been a name we’ve seen taken by the Colts in a few mock drafts.

Big boards will undoubtedly change between now and late April when the draft takes place, and team needs for the Colts could as well, depending on how the rest of the season and free agency unfolds.

However, at this moment, potential needs for the Colts next offseason include the tight end position, where more playmaking is needed. Defensive tackle depth could be another given how the run defense has looked behind Grover Stewart and DeForest Buckner.

Not to mention cornerback and safety–two positions many thought the Colts would address in this year’s draft.

Some notable upcoming free agents for the Colts in 2025 include EJ Speed, Julian Blackmon, Ryan Kelly, Mo Alie-Cox, Kylen Granson, and Dayo Odeyingbo.
