Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. cleared the league’s concussion protocol and will play against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 17, the team announced Saturday.
Pittman Jr. entered the concussion protocol following the Week 16 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was able to log a limited practice on Wednesday followed by two full practices so it was expected that he would be good to play.
All the rookie needed to do was get cleared by an independent neurologist, and it appears he did that.
In 12 games, Pittman Jr. has 38 receptions for 475 receiving yards and one touchdown.
