Colts’ Michael Pittman Jr. (ankle) questionable vs. Jets

The rookie WR has an ankle injury.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. suffered an ankle injury during the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the New York Jets and is questionable to return.

It isn’t clear how severe the ankle injury is to the rookie wideout. The Colts just lost Parris Campbell to injured reserve with a PCL/MCL injury in Week 2 against the Vikings so they are hoping the second-round pick didn’t suffer a serious injury.

As long as Pittman Jr. is out, the Colts will rely on Zach Pascal, Daurice Fountain and Ashton Dulin to step up behind T.Y. Hilton. Rookie Dezmon Patmon was a healthy scratch for the game.

We will update this post with anymore information regarding the status of Pittman Jr. against the Jets.
