The Indianapolis Colts were back on the practice field Wednesday and released their initial injury report ahead of their Week 3 matchup against the Chicago Bears.

Not practicing were Laiatu Latu and Matt Gay. Head coach Shane Steichen mentioned before Wednesday’s practice that Latu wasn’t going to be on the field today and that he is day-to-day right now after exiting the Colts’ Week 2 matchup with a hip injury.
Gay returned to the field on Sunday against the Packers after missing Week 1 with a hernia injury that required surgery. We don’t have any more details at the moment.
Gay was 1-for-2 on field goal attempts against Green Bay, missing a 50-yarder. That performance comes on the heels of going just 1-for-4 in the preseason, although Steichen said he is still confident in Gay.
Some good news was that Julian Blackmon wasn’t only on the field but a full participant after missing last week–a good sign for Sunday, assuming he continues to progress.
Josh Downs didn’t play in Green Bay, but was a full participant last Friday. If it’s up to Downs, he will be on the field this week.
Lastly, Kenny Moore and Rodney Thomas were on the injury report, but were full participants.
