Indianapolis Colts tight end Kylen Granson was added to the injury report Saturday due to a hamstring injury and is now questionable for the Week 2 matchup against the Houston Texans, the team announced.
Granson was a participant in practice all week so it isn’t clear what caused the injury. Late additions to the injury report typically aren’t good news so this certainly will be something to monitor going into Sunday morning.
Granson was the clear leader in the tight end room during the Week 1 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He led the position in snaps, targets, receptions, yards and routes run during the opener.
With Drew Ogletree clearing the concussion protocol, his questionable tag was removed so he will play. If Granson can’t play, there’s a chance we see rookie Will Mallory active for the first time this season.
