Indianapolis Colts cornerback Kenny Moore shared his incredible story with the organization’s production team, filming a documentary as a part of a series called “Colts Life.”
While Moore isn’t the only Colts player to have been featured in the series, his did come away with an accolade. It was announced Saturday evening that the documentary about Moore was honored with a NATAS LGL Emmy award.
The Emmy for Branded Content Program – Long Form (Longer than 10 minutes) goes to – Colts Life: Kenny Moore II | Indianapolis Colts | Kenny Moore | Matthew Dominick | Matthew Wilkening | Dave Knickerbocker | Harrison Pogue | Conner Handel @Colts #2020EmmysLGL

Related but separate to the Primetime Emmys, the National Academy of Arts & Sciences focuses more on the local and regional scene. A “show” is considered regional if it doesn’t reach 50% of households in the United States. If it does, it would be categorized along with the national Emmys.
Moore’s documentary was a part of the Lower Great Lakes chapter, which covers parts of Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania. There are 20 regional chapters across the country.
The production team for the Colts has taken massive steps in recent years. From the docuseries “With the Next Pick” highlighting the pre-draft process to the “Colts Life” series, the organization has gone above and beyond to give a behind-the-scenes look at what life is like in the NFL.
Moore quickly became a fan favorite since his arrival in 2017. He’s established himself as a leader both in the locker room and the community while also becoming arguably the best slot cornerback in the entire league.
There should be some on-field accolades to come Moore’s way in the future, but this one will likely hold a special place throughout his career.
